VACANCY FOR ENGLISH/COMMUNICATION TEACHERS

Communication/English teachers are needed to teach English proficiency/clear diction/effective communication skills online.

CORE ROLES

  • Teach four times a week on Saturdays and Sundays via Zoom plus two private classes (two to three hours per week).
  • Send tasks/prompts to your assigned class.
  • Give feedback to submitted tasks on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The teacher does this anytime on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Error-Free Writing
  • Fluent Spoken English with Clear Diction
  • Full knowledge of basic grammar (modifiers, common errors, primary/secondary rules of Concord, etc.), British Oral English (sounds, stress, intonation, etc.) and effective communication skills (voicing, feedback, nonverbal cues, content, etc.)
  • Have a laptop for Zoom and the creation of PowerPoint slides.
  • Be available to perform the roles for the next twelve months.

PAY/PERKS

  • The starting salary is N100,000 per month based on your availability. It regularly increases based on the teacher’s dedication, punctuality, and creativity.
  • Extra payment for other teaching gigs. For example, when a client asks for a private class, you get your commission if chosen for the task. Through these gigs, some teachers potentially earn about N300,000+ to N1,000,000 in total at the end of each month.
  • Training, exposure, and upgrades are key features you get at Flying Colours.

Teachers who already completed their appointments keep reaching out to appreciate us for the edge we gave them to thrive in their current workplace.

HOW TO APPLY

  • Send a five-minute video of yourself teaching any topic concerning effective communication skills, pronunciation or English proficiency. You’ll need to show your face. That is, the video should not be in the form of a voice-over. In the video lesson, using a board or speaking before present learners is not compulsory. You have
higher chances when your teaching is lively (not boring), coherent (no long
pauses and repeated fillers), and full of relatable examples. Also, choose a
specific topic (one part of speech, a particular punctuation mark, an English sound,
a set of commonly mispronounced words, a spelling rule, one silent letter,
using the body language, rules of subject-verb agreement, etc.) as opposed to
general topics (communication, English proficiency, etc.). Don’t forget to use
the right tone of voice and appropriate body language.
  • Handwrite a one-page composition on why you should be considered for the role. Use your pen/paper to write this and send the picture.

  • Send both submissions to us via Telegram or WhatsApp (+2348104431433).
  • Note: This vacancy is always open. Apply anytime you come across it.

    …success at your fingertips!👍
